This is why, alongside the ongoing development of the professionals who have contributed to the company's growth for many years, we are actively building the team that will support our future development, both in Italy and through our joint venture in China.
Over the past few years, we have welcomed new colleagues who are gradually taking on increasing responsibilities within the organization. Our most recent additions, including two team members in the warehouse area, are also following a development path that will enable them to play a key role in the new projects scheduled to begin in 2027.
Looking ahead also means planning in advance for the skills and capabilities we will need in the future. For this reason, we are already evaluating the addition of several commercial professionals over the next two years, who will contribute to the company's growth and help strengthen our presence across both the Italian and international markets.
This commitment to developing internal talent is also reflected in the evolution of our leadership structure. In recent weeks, Luciano Mattavelli, formerly the company's COO, has been appointed CEO of Intercom Chemicals, taking on the operational leadership of the company after a long professional journey developed within the organization. Alberto Coglio, the company's long-standing Managing Director and owner, has assumed the role of Chairman.
This marks an important milestone for Intercom Chemicals, combining continuity with renewal and representing a significant generational transition. It is a choice that reaffirms the company's commitment to investing in people, recognizing the value of expertise built over time and entrusting increasing responsibilities to those who have contributed to its growth throughout the years.
